AI share of voice

AI share of voice is the share of AI answers, for a set of buyer questions, in which your brand is named, compared with each competitor. If you are named in 4 of 20 answers and a rival in 14 of 20, your share is 20% and theirs is 70%, and the shares need not add to 100%.

How to calculate it

Divide the number of answers that name a brand by the number of answers you collected. Count a brand once per answer.

Why it is useful
